Meet Lisa Gelberman
Lisa Gelberman is the current elementary school principal at YTCTE of Miami, literacy consultant, special education specialist and Orton-Gillingham certified instructor who has spent her career working alongside teachers and students.
​
As a published writer and presenter, Lisa created Literacy Decoded after seeing the same challenge again and again. Schools had curriculum, interventions, and committed teachers, but teachers didn't always have the reading knowledge to identify exactly where students were getting stuck and know what to do next.
